Frequently Asked Questions
The client will receive what has been returned to the contractor. For example if 30 coats have been returned to Champions Laundry then the following week only 30 coats will be returned. In the event that any coats or linen have been soiled excessively then occasionally it may need a rewash and will be returned the second week.
As we are a laundry and linen hire company our aim is to ensure clients are receiving high end textiles and are receiving clean/pressed linen, which is the expectation of our clients. After the delivery we cannot verify in your premises when textiles are used or worn. Therefore, the 24 hour timeframe has been given as the expectation is that a business would be in the process of preparing and using the new linen or workwear, at that point we would be able to verify the complaints. This must be all documented via email with pictures. We will not accept complaints for damaged workwear or linen as we would inform you beforehand if you have damaged any linen/workwear and this will be returned to you as received and you could be charged for any damages caused by your business. The 24 hour timeframe as an example would be '9am delivery completed to client. Client has until 9am the following day to submit their complaint'.
This is possible if there is no branding on the workwear and can be adjusted at the end of the minimum term of the contract. Please speak to your main point of contact and we can try and assist you if any adjustments can be made to your agreement.
We aim to resolve all complaints and would be disappointed if clients are no longer happy to continue working with us. If you are not receiving the basics which is clean and pressed linen/workwear on a regular basis then this would be a breach of contract on our part, however the client must give us the opportunity to rectify any issues and if it's still not resolved the contract is null and void. In addition, everything must be documented with pictures within 24 hours upon delivery. We would also mention that if this is continuously an issue for three months, then we would agree that this is a reasonable amount of time the client has given the contractor an opportunity to resolve all issues and are in the right to break the contract.
We follow thermal disinfection guidelines (e.g., maintaining wash temperatures above 71°C for at least 3 minutes) and record these parameters on each cycle. Our chemicals are also sourced from reputable commercial suppliers, with dosing systems calibrated to ensure consistent cleaning and disinfection. Lastly, we are currently exploring options for external microbiological testing and potential future validation under standards like HTM 01-04 or EN 14065, should our client sectors require it. We’re committed to continuous improvement and open to collaborating with clients on hygiene assurance requirements.
At Champions Laundry, we manage our key process controls through consistent manual checks, training, and clear procedures to ensure quality and hygiene at every stage.
- Washing temperatures and cycle times are monitored daily and manually recorded to ensure they meet hygiene requirements.
- Detergents and disinfectants are measured and added manually by trained staff, following standard operating procedures for each load type.
- Staff are trained to visually inspect loads pre- and post-wash for proper soil removal and finishing.
- We maintain checklists for equipment condition and process steps, which are reviewed daily by our team and weekly by a supervisor.
- Any issues or variations are logged and followed up immediately to avoid any compromise in standards.
We maintain strict separation between dirty (soiled) and clean areas:
- Physical segregation: Separate entry and exit points for dirty and clean laundry. Soiled laundry is received in a dedicated area, processed through a controlled flow system, and exits through a clean area.
- Zoned workflow: Our facility layout ensures a one-way flow from dirty to clean, reducing cross-contamination risk.
Great question. We have a couple of ways we do this:
- Storage in designated clean zones and covered shelving and containers
- We also wrap and package the finished laundry. Except for tea towels which require further cooling times.
Champions Laundry will provide workwear and linen on agreed days with clients. In the event of emergencies Champions Laundry will keep in contact with clients otherwise there should be no forthcoming circumstances as to why you shouldn't receive your textiles on the agreed day unless informed otherwise.
